You do not need an account or permission to read the Compendium, use the browser-local tools, or try a practice in your own place. Start with Start Where You Live or the browser-local tools.

Check the license attached to each project before copying or redistributing code. Access being free does not make every linked work the same license.

Return what you learn

A correction is enough. Useful returns include:

• the step that failed and the conditions around it;
• a safer procedure or a missing hazard;
• a translation or printable version;
• a field report from different hardware, soil, weather, or local rules;
• a clear reason a proposed practice should not be used.

Use the source or issue link attached to a project when one exists. Until a single public contribution route is established for the Compendium, email casey@samaritansolutions.net with the page title and the smallest useful account of what you found.

Build locally

The most important connection may be the person down the street. A consented phone tree, a shared tool list, or a seed exchange does not need a global community platform. Keep personal information local and collect only what the practice needs.
